Hello, actually it has been done on some tablets but I do not think it is for everyone and mature enough to use on an everyday basis. You can not get android on any nokia devices. I've never had a problem using either PC suite or Ovi suite to connect my laptop to the internet using my phone. The other PC is waiting for my call with another mobilephone connected.
Nokia N I have the same problem, need to be able to connect using the modem as a pulse tone dialler and not an internet connection. I previously had an N95 and also have an X6 both that work fine, cant understand why the N8 wont. Software designers please take note and update the software ASAP I have nokia N8 phone but I format my phone.
