Joined Dec 26, Messages Every time I try to install EasyShare from the CD as well as internet I get the same error message: Setup failed while attempting to install a package. When I plugged it in to my computer the transfer some pictures the USB driver said that the installation of the device failed and the camera doesnt show up on "my computer" as a removable driver like it should.
I plugged it into my mom's Mac and went right into the setup program like it is supposed to so it is not my camera that is the problem.
Any ideas??? What is the exact error message that you get? Have you installed the software for the device? What is the exact make and model of the Kodak camera? You may check if there are any errors showing up in Device Manager usually a yellow exclamation mark beside the device. I would also suggest you to install the software that came with the device and then try plugging in and check.
