Causes: A Desktop was uninstalled formerly called Autodesk Sync. Damaged settings files for AutoCAD. Corrupted installation of AutoCAD. Operating system update. Too many drawing elements have been selected. Solution: Do one or more of the following: Increase the number of objects the Properties palette displays. The maximum is but setting it to zero removes any limit. Setting them to the same percentage fixed the blank palette problem.
I did not do either of the things listed above. Do I really need to do a reinstall! Here's a very specific case. Clipped viewports only show as one item in the properties palette — with no properties. To see the properties of either item — you have to select one or the other from the drop down at the top….
