The collaborative and challenging program opens several new avenues for jobs in education, program administration, public health, advanced clinical practice, specialized patient care and research. Courses emphasize evidence-based practice in the biomedical, behavioral and clinical sciences.
All courses are completed online. Some courses can be completed 24 hours a day while other instructors require students to meet online at specific times. Out-of-state students may qualify for in-state tuition or the greatly reduced Heartland Rate. UMKC's Major Maps are detailed, semester by semester plans that lead a student to complete all degree requirements within four years.
